Scott Hinnendael grew up in the wireless industry — literally. His father, Lew Hinnendael, founded Cellular Systems in the early 1990s, a full-service local cell provider that served Oconto County and the surrounding area for 27 years. Scott started working there as a teenager, learning every role from the ground up — car phone installations, service calls, sales, and eventually managing locations.

When Cellcom acquired Cellular Systems in 2018, Scott stayed on — spending five years as the business sales representative in Oconto County and two years as an agent area manager. He learned the industry from every angle.

In November 2025, Scott opened NorthWoods Wireless — not as a stranger to this community, but as someone who has spent his entire career serving it. When you walk through our door, you're not dealing with a franchise employee reading from a script. You're dealing with someone who has been in this business for over 25 years and genuinely cares about getting you the right answer.
